HVAC, ventilation and refrigeration cleaning specialists
Climeo cleans HVAC, ventilation and refrigeration equipment across Greater Montreal — wall units and heat pumps, ducts and air exchangers, dryer vents, humidifiers and commercial refrigeration. Cleaning and maintenance only: Climeo is not a general HVAC contractor and does not sell installation, repair, or equipment replacement.
What a fleet clean includes, per unit
PTAC units and fan-coils (ventilo-convecteurs) sit in the room with the guest or resident. Filters load, blower wheels cake, coils blanket, condensate trays hold standing water. Nobody notices until a room smells or a unit stops keeping up. Climeo cleans terminal-unit fleets across Greater Montreal as a scheduled operation rather than a series of service calls. One mobilisation, an agreed block of rooms per day, and a per-unit record you can hand to ownership.
- Filter removal, cleaning or replacement where the filter is customer-supplied or quoted separately
- Blower wheel and fan housing cleaning — the component that actually restores airflow
- Evaporator coil face cleaning on the accessible side
- Condensate tray and drain line clearing, with a flow check
- Cabinet, grille and louvre cleaning inside the room
- Function check after reassembly: unit powers, fan speeds respond, airflow restored
- A per-unit line record: room or unit identifier, condition found, work done, exceptions
Properties this is built for
- Hotels and motels with PTAC fleets across guest floors
- Student, senior and supervised residences with in-room terminal units
- Condo and apartment portfolios with fan-coils in every suite
- Office, clinic and institutional buildings on fan-coil systems
- Property managers running several buildings who want one coordinated pass
Where a unit needs more than cleaning
Cleaning frequently uncovers something else: a seized blower motor, a cracked tray, a failed thermostat, a unit past service life. We record it against that room, photograph it, and tell you. We do not attempt repairs outside cleaning scope on the spot. Where the corrective work needs a licensed or specialised trade, Climeo can coordinate an appropriately qualified technician for that portion rather than handing the problem back. Climeo does not hold RBQ or refrigeration certification itself and never claims to; what it coordinates is fulfilment by people who do.

Questions about this service
Does Climeo clean PTAC units?
Yes. PTAC and PTHP through-wall terminal units are a core part of this service, cleaned room by room across Greater Montreal hotels, motels and residences.
Does Climeo clean fan coils / ventilo-convecteurs?
Yes. Fan-coil units in condo towers, apartments, offices and institutional buildings are cleaned on the same fleet basis as PTAC units.
Does Climeo service hotels?
Yes. Hotels and motels are a primary customer for this service. Work is scheduled around occupancy in agreed room blocks, including after-hours where required.
Can Climeo handle large fleets?
Yes. The service is quoted and scheduled by fleet size, from about ten units to several hundred across multiple buildings, as a scheduled operation rather than individual service calls.
What is included in a PTAC or fan-coil cleaning?
Per unit: filter service, blower wheel and fan housing cleaning, accessible evaporator coil face cleaning, condensate tray and drain clearing with a flow check, in-room cabinet and grille cleaning, a post-reassembly function check, and a per-unit written record.
Does Climeo repair refrigerant systems?
No. This service is preventive cleaning only. Climeo does not perform refrigerant charging, recovery, leak repair or any sealed-circuit work, and does not carry out electrical or compressor repair. Where corrective work is needed, Climeo can coordinate an appropriately qualified technician for that portion.
Where does Climeo operate?
Greater Montreal, including Montreal, Laval and the surrounding service area, as a service-area business.
How is commercial pricing determined?
By mobilisation plus a per-unit rate banded by fleet size, adjusted for access complexity, filter requirements, documentation depth and after-hours constraints. Fleet pricing is quoted rather than published, because unit count and access drive the cost more than anything else.
Do you supply filters?
Filters are quoted separately or supplied by the property, because sizes and grades vary per fleet. Cleaning of washable filters is included.
How disruptive is it to guests or residents?
Work is done room by room in agreed blocks, typically while rooms are vacant during turnover, and can be scheduled after hours. Each unit is reassembled and function-checked before we leave the room.
